While we still do not know when we will be able to return to soccer fields, I do have other good news to share with our membership!
To begin, at this week’s CSA virtual board meeting, we reviewed the financials and have voted to refund families 100% of their Spring competitive fees. While SuperLiga is retaining their 30%, we will still honor our CSA families with a full refund of $70. We recognize the financial challenges that some may be facing, and we will be looking to start issuing refunds next week!
In addition, CSA is also overwhelmed with the generosity of those competitive families who have donated their refund back to CSA. THANK YOU ALL! Unfortunately the impact of this pandemic reaches far and wide, and to have our membership support our club during this uncertain time is tremendous. Your donated refund helps our club maintain fields, sprinklers, the clubhouse, utilities, etc., during a time when we are unable to bring in program revenues as usual. To date, we have 46 competitive families who have donated their refund back to CSA, totaling $3220.00 in donations.
The CSA board wants to thank all of you who are in a position that has enabled you to donate back to the league to help ensure that CSA endures this unprecedented situation. As a reminder, everyone who donates their Spring refund will receive a charitable contribution acknowledgement letter for documentation towards your personal tax deductions. If you have been considering donating your Spring refund back to CSA to support the club, there is still time! Please reach out to me by Sunday, May 17th, and we will add you to our list of donors!
We are all truly grateful for everyone’s understanding and support today and everyday. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm in helping to maintain our club so our kids can look forward to rejoining each other back on the fields as soon as they reopen!
As always, please feel free to reach out at any time with questions or concerns.
