The Fall
Developmental Season Will Start August
25th, 2007
Parents:
If you are
wondering what you can be doing until the season starts, or until
your practices get started. Just go outside with your child and
start kicking the ball back and fourth to your child in your yard,
at the playground, in the park, or at the beach. Every touch your
child gets on the ball will help them.
Above all...
Have FUN!
Concession Stand:
As in most youth
leagues; Coventry has NO paid positions and it relies on the support
of the membership and it's sponsors to operate each year.
CSA requires
every team to cover at least one 2-hour shift in the concession
stand during the season with a minimum of 3 adults (sorry... no
children under the age of 15).
In order for us
to ensure that this happens fairly as well as smoothly CSA will
create a schedule which will be posted at the concession stand and
on the CSA Website. Each coach will be responsible to give the names
of the parents covering their shift to the Developmental Director.
The monies raised
in the concession stand help CSA to keep the sign-up fees as low as
possible and help to pay for trophies at the end of the season.
Please do your
part in helping us to help you!
